NAACP Spearheads Move to Allow Prisoners to Vote
Maine is one of two states that allows prisoners to vote, and this week the NAACP is registering voters in prisons. The focus, they say, is not just on black inmates. Rather, the NAACP is striving to connect prisoners to the outside world.
