Commission to Conduct Hearings on Federal Sentencing Policy
In a Press Release that was issued on January 13, 2009, The United States Sentencing Commission announced it will be conducting a series of regional public hearings on federal sentencing policy. The purpose of the hearings will be to evaluate federal sentencing practices and guidelines.
