Kentucky Prison Food Problems
Kentucky corrections officials were forced to face up to the terrible food conditions in Kentucky prisons, by lawmakers who found that the quality of meals was inhumane. Kentucky has a $11.8 million per year contract with Aramark Correctional Services which provides food in bulk, lowering the cost to feed each inmate.

Kentucky Riot
Prisoners in a central Kentucky prison rioted by setting part of the prison on fire. Although the reasons for the riot have not been determined, it seems likely that the prisoners were unhappy with the recent changes caused by budget cuts. Check out this video of the story below.
