“Acts of Art”

University of Michigan professors Janie Paul and Buzz Alexander’s annual exhibit is the largest exhibit of prison art in the country. Students of the professors are involved in traveling across the state of Michigan to various prisons. Filmmaker Katherine Weider produced a half hour documentary on their exhibit called “Acts of Art: The Prison Creative Arts Project” which documented the 13th year of the exhibit.
