In the 2000 Coen brothers film Oh Brother, Where Art Thou? the Soggy Bottom Boys recreate “In the Jailhouse Now,” a novelty song originally found in Vaudeville performances from the early twentieth century, written by “The Father of Country Music”, Jimmie Rodgers.
